By Jake Perper

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Florida launched reservations officially on July 24, and rooms sold out almost immediately for the opening day of October 24 and the nights following.

A two-night stay at the hotel was reported just short of $2,500 for a room in the Guitar Hotel while the seven-story Oasis Tower wasn’t much cheaper at $2,418 for a two-night stay as well.

The Sun Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale reported that prices are expected to drop in the following weeks. Yes, on Halloween this year, a Platinum Suite in the Guitar Hotel goes for $1,019, but other suites in the Guitar Hotel can be found for $429-$729.

Super Bowl LIV will be held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, and the Hard Rock website already is showing no real availability at either the Guitar Hotel or Oasis Tower for that time. Other area hotels are all but booked up as well.

The rates will be based on availability and seasonality, according to what the Hard Rock officials told the Sun Sentinel recently.

The Hard Rock Guitar Hotel

The 400-foot-tall glass guitar-shaped tower is the centerpiece of Hard Rock’s $1.5 billion upgrade to the Hollywood, Florida, property.

The Guitar Hotel features 638 rooms while the Oasis Tower will have 168 rooms. The other existing Hard Rock Tower earned a renovation that will have 465 rooms overall. The grand total of 1,271 guestrooms are expected to drive major revenue increase for the property.

"The Hard Rock brand is stronger today than it ever has been," Jim Allen, chairman of Hard Rock International and CEO of Seminole Gaming, said in a statement obtained by CNN. He said the brand "represents more than food, beverage and a place to stay."

More Additions to Hollywood Hotel

On top of the three hotels, there is a lot to like about the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. Most important for the gamblers, the casino floor will include just north of 3,000 slot machines for use and roughly 300 gaming tables for players.

There will also be a 12,000 square-foot rooftop bar with lagoon-style pool, 14 restaurants, a number of shopping options, spa, lazy river, and a water park. Spaces in the hotel and casino floors will also be used for concerts, comedy shows and theater shows.

According to the Tampa Bay Times the Tampa property is currently expanding as well, opening a $720 million expansion in early October. The Guitar Hotel is just one of many top-class attractions that Hard Rock is implementing around the country.
