Golden Nugget & Genius Sports Reach Data Partnership Deal

Genius Sports announced Tuesday an official data and trading partnership with Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG).

GNOG is the latest U.S. sports betting brand to use Genius Sports’ full suite of NASCAR’s in-race betting markets, alongside its NFL official sports products and services, highlighted by the league’s real-time statistics and official sports betting data feed, according to a news release.

The AGA recently reported that it expects a big increase in NFL betting in 2021.

In addition to its sportsbook, Golden Nugget’s online casino is one of the top brands in the U.S. market. In early August, DraftKings announced it was purchasing the online gambling assets of GNOG for about $1.6 billion.

“The modern sportsbook customer demands an experience that is engaging, reliable and available round-the-clock,” Golden Nugget Online Gaming president Thomas Winter said in a news release. “Our official data partnership with Genius Sports is a crucial pillar for us delivering upon these expectations, providing our customers with immersive products on their favorite sports such as the NFL, NASCAR and other global leagues.”

GNOG will also use Genius Sports’ LiveData and LiveTrading solutions, the release said. They deliver official data feeds from thousands of sporting events, including the English Premier League, Liga MX, Argentine and Colombian soccer and Euroleague Basketball.

“We are delighted to partner with Golden Nugget to help them deliver the most compelling live sports betting experience available,” Mark Locke, CEO of Genius Sports, said in the release. “With official data at its heart, this partnership enables Golden Nugget to increase engagement with their customers while supporting a sustainable sports betting ecosystem.”

Other Genius Deals

Earlier this month, Genius Sports announced a new partnership with Caesars Entertainment’s casinos, sportsbooks and wagering entities, giving access to its entire official sports data content offering, including customer acquisition tools and fan engagement solutions.

In April, the NFL made Genius Sports the exclusive provider of NFL stats and sports betting data, replacing Sportradar.

Genius Sports is a partner with more than 400 sports organizations globally, including many of the world’s biggest leagues and federations. That includes the NFL, EPL, FIBA, NCAA, NASCAR, AFA and PGA.
